Introduction
This Hatha Yoga class focuses on the path towards personal wellness and enlightenment through physical, mental and spiritual means. This Hatha class is designed to align and calm your body, mind, and spirit in preparation for meditation. This is a basic class, which means is apt to everyone regarding age or experience.
What is a hatha yoga class like?
Our practice involves 1 hour long of breath, body, and mind. The first 10 minutes we will focus in our opening, where you will be guided to bring your attention to your present moment leaving behind all your “To-do” list, put your intention and breathing exercises. After that we will start warming up, following by our journey, peak poses cool down and finalizing with Savasana, which is our meditation part.
Is this program for you?
Hatha Yoga is considered a gentle yoga that focuses on static poses and is great for beginners. However, even though it is gentle, it can still be physically and mentally challenging, for this reason, the student must always remember that yoga is not a competition sport, each person does what it’s best for him/her and is highly recommended to always listen to the body and move only until is comfortable without comparing with others.
This class is a beginning class that is intended to be for all ages.
How should I prepare for this class?
Extend your yoga mat and create an appropriate space for your practice, have on hand some props in case you like to use them like blocks, stripe and blankets (suggested but not necessary). Eat at least 2 hours before the class.
Is this an online class or in-person?
This is an online class that use Zoom platform. However, we do in-person class also, to participate in any of our classes please contact us!
